Boston Stranger Session

This was such a fun and different session to photograph in the Boston Public Garden.

I met with them both separately before the session started, so they had never met each other before. I photographed her first and took a few solo portraits around the garden before bringing them together. Those portraits ended up being some of my favorite images from the entire shoot. The light was gorgeous and the Public Garden was the perfect backdrop.

When it was time for them to meet, I had them do a first look by the pond. It was so cute watching them see each other for the first time and getting to photograph their reactions.

From there, we walked around the Boston Public Garden and kept everything really relaxed. I wanted the photos to feel natural, romantic, and playful instead of overly posed. They laughed, talked, walked around the garden, and somehow made being photographed with a complete stranger look completely effortless.

The Boston Public Garden is one of my favorite places to photograph couples because every little area feels different. Between the pond, the trees, the bridge, the walking paths, and the golden light coming through the garden, there are so many beautiful places to create romantic photos without having to go very far.
