Self Portraits on our 4th of july Vacation

We were here on vacation, the rain started coming down, and we ended up running outside barefoot to take these. No real plan — just the two of us, the hydrangeas, wet hair, and the kind of summer rain that makes everything feel a little more cinematic.

I’ve always loved imperfect weather for photos. Rain adds movement, texture, and a little bit of chaos in the best way. These were simple, unplanned, and honestly some of my favorites from the trip.
